I think it is funny what motivates most people.
We see someone "famous" say use this to gain 14 kg of lean muscle mass super fast, and WE BUY IT???
We see the size 6 young lady with the legs that are 2 metres long, never had a baby or worked two jobs to stay ahead of the bills say, two months ago, I was a size 16 and all I did was drink this once a day instead of my normal meal and, well, look at me now, and WE BUY IT???
Come on, these advertisements are there to help something lose weight and it isn't your waste or your butt, it is your wallet!!!
Sure these people have attributes that appeal to some of us, but what we don't see is the truth. The truth about how they got to look like that.
I can tell you from personal experience and education that there are certain factors that will ensure you reach your health and wellness goals and I can guarantee you they don't come in a bottle or they don't happen in two months and the latest "gizmo" isn't going to magically transform your body.
You need to make a decision based on fact, you need to have a realistic time frame in mind and you must do the three things that stop nearly all of us, yes, nearly all of us, look around you to ensure your fitness goals are reached.
1. Stick to your decision, not until, but for the rest of your life. Being fit and healthy is a lifestyle choice not a news years resolution.
2. Realise that its not all about the gym, in fact most of it is about what you put in your mouth. Activity, nutrition and rest guarantee the safest way to get the body you feel good in.
3. Be realistic and have fun, enjoy what you are doing, incorporate friends and family, it's not about your best 1 rep max.
